VITALPAINTBALL GENERAL OPERATING & SAFETY RULES

All players must read and agree to follow all player safety rules, field safety guidelines, and sign the waiver of liability and hold harmless agreement prior to participation in any paintball activities without exception.  Any violation of the safety rules will result in mandatory ejection from the field and/or premises.

VitalPaintball LLC will accept all fully automatic, semi-automatic or pump paintball guns as long as they can be adjusted to 280 fps and can be adjusted to shoot less than 13 balls per second.  This is a Field Paint only facility.

1. SAFETY GOGGLES must be worn at all times on or near the playing fields and/or shooting ranges / chronograph areas. Do not remove them for any reason. There is no good excuse to lose an eye! If your goggles fog up, do not remove them. Call for a field judge. Any player not wearing goggles will be removed from the game. No second chances! No excuses! In addition to goggles, it is mandatory that you wear full face, head, and ear protection. It is recommended that you wear neck, throat, and groin protection.

2. BARREL BLOCKING DEVICES must be on at all times anywhere on the property other than the designated playing field and chrono range.  Barrel blocking devices must be specifically designed and manufactured for paintball markers.  Barrel plugs are not acceptable blocking devices.

3. ALL GUNS ARE CHRONOGRAPHED before the scenario starts and can shoot no faster than 280 fps.  Random and player requested gun checks will be made during scenario play by staff.

4. NO SHOOTING at the head, neck, or groin of an opponent.

5. NO SHOOTING in any areas other than the designated playing field and/or target range.  No shooting into or out of the registration area, neutral zones or parking areas.  Markers may only be discharged on the active field of play or target range.

6. NO SHOOTING at wildlife, airplanes, automobiles, field vehicles etc.

7. NO SHOOTING a gun at a person less than 10 feet away from you. Ask for them to surrender. If you are asked by a player to surrender, and they truly have you captured, DO NOT TURN AROUND, just surrender and congratulate them for getting you. If you turn around or you don’t surrender, YOU WILL BE SHOT AND IT WILL LEAVE A MARK!  Don’t wine about it!

8. NO OVERSHOOTING: If a player is hit more than 3 times, the shooter is out too. The judges will make the final call.

9. NO BLINDSHOOTING: A player is not shoot over or around any object or structure without having a line-of-sight on intended target; be able to see what you are trying to shoot.

10. PAINT CHECK: If you hit a players pack, etc. and they are unaware, please call for a paint check. Do not start screaming “You are hit…bad word…bad word…bad word”!!! Please use restraint as much as you can.

11. LETHAL / NON-LETHAL / GUN HITS: A hit on the head or any part of the torso is considered a lethal hit and a medic CANNOT save you. A hit on the legs or arms is considered a non-lethal hit and a medic CAN save you if they can get to you within one minute. If you are hit in the gun you are NOT OUT. A “Valid Hit” is if any paint on you is about the size of a quarter. That means if you get a large splatter on you and it is about the size of a quarter, you are out.

12. JUDGES DECISIONS ARE FINAL Players attempting to settle disputes are to call for a field judge. The judge’s decision is final. REMEMBER, judges have considerable flexibility in their application of the rules and how a particular incident may play out. Respect their decisions, and realize these are the "fortunes of war".

13. NO CLIMBING of trees, walls or other obstacles.

14. NO PHYSICAL CONTACT between Players / referees / anyone!

15. NO VERBAL ABUSE profanity, name-calling, or slurs against anyone’s race, religion, or family members or team members.

If you have an item in question, please ask the field operator to approve the equipment in question. VitalPaintball LLC has the right to deny or remove any player or any equipment from premises.

17. MODIFICATIONS ARE PROHIBITED Players are not allowed to modify safety goggles, rental markers, bunkers, or any property on the premises.  No tools are allowed on the field.  All gun adjustments must be done with a VitalPaintball LLC Staff member in designated areas.

18. SPECTATORS are required to wear safety goggles unless they remain a minimum of five feet behind the safety netting at all times.  No exceptions.

19. NO ALCOHOL OR ILLEGAL DRUGS are allowed on the premises.  Anyone engaging in these activities or who is impaired will be ejected from the field.  Repeat violators will be banned from the facility permanently

Come to have fun and leave your attitudes at home. If a player cannot adapt and appreciate the variety and unpredictability of scenario play then scenario games may not be for you.
